Robert "Rob" O'Neill (born 10 April 1976) is a former United States Navy SEAL and a native of Butte, Montana. He is best known for his claims, made in November 2014, of having fired the head shots that killed Osama bin Laden during the raid on his Abbottabad compound on May 2, 2011.
