WINSTON CHURCHILL VERSUS ADOLF HITLER [PRO DEATH PENALTY QUOTE OF THE WEEK ~ SUNDAY 28 APRIL 2013 TO SATURDAY 4 MAY 2013]

On this date, 30 April 1945, Adolf Hitler committed suicide by gunshot on 30 April 1945 in his Führerbunker in Berlin. His wife Eva (née Braun) committed suicide with him by ingesting cyanide. In order to remember that historical date when an evil man was demolished for good, I will post this Pro-Death Penalty Quote from Sir Winston Churchill who wanted Hitler to be executed for his war crimes.

QUOTE: "Contemplate that if Hitler falls into our hands we shall certainly put him to death," Churchill noted at a Cabinet meeting in December 1942. 'This man is the mainspring of evil. Instrument — electric chair, for gangsters, no doubt available on lease-lend'.

AUTHOR: Winston Churchill A.K.A Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill, KG, OM, CH, TD, PC, DL, FRS, Hon. RA (30 November 1874 – 24 January 1965) was a British politician and statesman known for his leadership of the United Kingdom during the Second World War. He is widely regarded as one of the great wartime leaders. He served as Prime Minister twice (1940–45 and 1951–55). A noted statesman and orator, Churchill was also an officer in the British Army, a historian, a writer, and an artist. To date, he is the only British prime minister to have received the Nobel Prize in Literature, and he was the first person to be made an honorary citizen of the United States.
