On
this date, March 27, 2001, a recidivist murderer by the name of Robert Lee
Massie was executed by lethal injection in San Quentin State Prison of
California. He
was the ninth person put to death by that State since 1976. He was supposed to
be executed for a murder he committed in 1965 but had his death sentence
commuted to life imprisonment. When he was paroled from prison, he committed
another murder again. Another good reason that proves that abolitionists want
to eliminate life without parole too. Please go to this blog to learn more about the
killer.
