On this date, June 1,
2000, a recidivist murderer, James Glenn Robedeaux was executed by lethal
injection in Oklahoma for the September 22, 1985 murder of his girlfriend,
Nancy Rose Lee McKinney. He had earlier committed another murder in March 1978.
